Enforcing Copyright of the Design
Enforcement of the copyright of the logo is being done to ensure some control over how it is used and profited from as cycling gets more popular in Toronto. It is inappropriate for it or any derivative of it was used by any company, individual or group for their own purposes. The logo was designed as a positive, proud symbol of cycling in Toronto, and it (or any derivative of it) is only allowed to be used by ibiketo.org, bikingtoronto.com and charitable partners.
Merchandising & Use
All merchandise and use of the logo is through this site, ibiketo.org and the affiliated bikingtoronto.spreadshirt.com site. Any other use of the logo or any derivative of it is prohibited.
Using Copyright to Benefit the Community
I Bike T.O. is the charitable arm of BikingToronto.com It exists to not only let people buy shirts and buttons with the I Bike T.O. logo, but allow the money raised to support cycling-related charitable organizations. 100% of the profits from sales of shirts, buttons, etc., will go to cycling-related charities in Toronto via the BikingToronto Fund.
